For the house

The host was very welcoming and provided us, even before our stay, with lots of useful information. She was very quick in answering my emails. The house is located in a nice part of Prince Albert. It is spacious with three dormitories, well kept, clean and has nice beds! We had an amazingly nice breakfast at the Lazy Lizard, a suggestion by our host.

Very private quite place, have everything you need inside. Very good place to stay for couple of days in town everything is walking distance

Lovely, spacious home

Spacious home with generous size bedrooms. Rustic farmstyle kitchen with everything you need. No aircon, but very powerful ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Good size garden for kids to play in. Low front wall and gate, no cover on pool meant that our two year old had to be supervised at all times. Fantastic for older children for a family getaway with lovely verandahs. We will be back!

Spacious house with big garden and pool. Centrally located near restaurants, hotel and market. Great for family stay or groups of friends.

What a great place to make a stopover in Prince Albert. In the middle of town but very quiet (we were surprised about that). The house is very well maintained and equipped. Braai place as well another 2 places to sit outside for relaxing. Highly recommended even for people with children as very safe. Yolande, who welcomed us is charming and helpful. We booked only a couple of hours before taking the keys. Easy going as Yolande is immediately available on cellphone. Book there, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

A wonderful, traditional space with plenty of charm. Really well equipped and easy to live in. Yolande is a really helpful host - very responsive and gave great recommendations. Prince Albert is HOT in February, so be prepared! A lovely outdoor space and garden area in which to relax with a few trees providing some shade. The pool is essential to cool off. Really comfortable beds with good quality linen. Well located, right on the main street where all the shops and restaurants are. We recommend the Lazy Lizard and La Di Dah for breakfast and lunch and the Gallery Cafe was a great place for dinner. We also recommend a trip to the fig farm - 27kms on an unpaved road, but well worth it. Thanks again Yolande for everything.

This was a way point out of our journey and it deserved so much more time

Loads of space with huge beds (with good mattresses). Lovely farm style kitchen with all you need. Swimming pool was very welcome in the heat. Right in the centre of town with many restaurants close by.

The location of this lovely, cosy house is perfect with many restaurants, cafés & shops within walking distance. My family had a wonderfully relaxing time around the pool & it was great to sit on the stoep (patio) in the evening. The bedrooms are a good size & the beds were extremely comfortable. There are mosquito nets & also plug-in mosquito repellant in all the bedrooms. It’s usually a good idea to bring along mosquito repellant for the evenings if you’re sitting outside so we always travel with this. Check-in with Yolande was very straightforward & she was communicating with us during our drive to Prince Albert. I highly recommend this house for making your stay in Prince Albert a memorable one.

Excellent location beautiful home away from home.

Spacious and well equipped. Tastefully decorated and pool a bonus in the heat. The list of things to do in the town was very useful. The astronomy tour and Natural history walk listed were exceptional.

Perfect spot in the main street »

Very central, clean with everything you need for a self catering break away, little fireplace helping to make you cosy in winter, fun outside shower for an afternoon shower in winter...the bath nice if it’s colder. Beautiful garden and friendly cat coming to greet. The lovely hotel just a 100m or so up the street if you don’t want to make your own breakfast .

Great location ... no need to drive. Secure. Very comfortable bed with lovely linen. Easy check in and good communication. Quirky but delightful furniture and every thing worked. Do bring essentials such as milk if arriving on a Saturday afternoon. Most convenience stores are closed.

The Tait Family:

Absolutely wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The van Maasdyk Family:

House was lovely and clean and the garden super neat. Marie Claire was super responsive and she made it really easy to book and was very accommodating in our extra needs and wishes. We were met upon arrival by Yolande who was equally hospitable and welcoming. The garden is immaculate and the house is great with more than enough space and incredibly central in the vibrant Prince Albert. Great family home with various patio's to sit on/at, making it a very social house as well as giving the ability to read a book when tired of 4-year-old's pertinent questions...

The van Aswegens and Pienaars:
